Bio

Lívia Auler é pesquisadora e artista visual.

Nascida em Santo Ângelo, atualmente reside em Porto Alegre (RS).

É graduada em Jornalismo pela PUCRS e em Artes Visuais pela UFRGS.

Possui Mestrado em Artes Visuais na linha de História, Teoria e Crítica de Arte pela UFRGS.

Suas abordagens no campo da arte são feitas através de uma perspectiva feminista e sua principal pesquisa é sobre artistas lésbicas.

Em seu trabalho como artista visual, também busca trazer questões sobre feminismo, mulheres e vivências lésbicas, história da arte e formas de representação na contemporaneidade.

​É uma das fundadoras do coletivo Nítida - fotografia e feminismo.

Lívia Auler is an art researcher and visual artist, who lives and works in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil.

She has a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication - Journalism (PUCRS, 2013) and a second Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts (UFRGS - Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul).

In addition, she holds a Master's degree in Visual Arts - Art History, Theory, and Criticism (UFRGS, 2019).

Her approaches in the field of art are made from a feminist perspective and her main research is on lesbian artists.
In her work as a visual artist, she also seeks to bring questions about feminism, women and lesbian experiences, art history and forms of representation in contemporary times.
She is one of the founders of the collective "Nítida - photography and feminism".
